It isn’t. I’m sorry he’s gone, but he’s not going to become canonized in death. He made good records, sure, but the guy wasn’t Elliott Smith.

Oh wow, everyone is ditching Sub Pop these days (The Shins, The Thermals, now Band of Horses). And in The Thermals case, for a smaller label (KRS). There must be something shady going on. Perhaps Sub Pop is the new SST?
