agree, man. No Cars Go and my body is a cage, but i liked laika as well. And the suburbs does need a few listening, but its get better and better as I’m listening to it. Someone said that it’s like joshua tree and darkness on the…. mixed together, I’m a quite big fan of Joshua tree but I don’t feel the similies with this one, I felt it listening to wake up, laika, no cars go, but this album is something else
maybe in the next song of the album will explode. Arcade Fire’s stuff sometimes more feels more like Pink Floyd’s albums, you have to listen to them in one piece
the end of ready to start is pretty good as specially when he sings the title of the song. We used to love is beautiful.
if you ask me you know something. I’m crazy about The national and I can’t understand what all the magazines and fans like about animal c. and grizzly bear. Grizzly is so fuckin sentimental and its unbelievingly featureless. AC…well its just noise for mee…
BTW The new album is awsome and England is definetely the best track on it.
guitar does sound a lot like “all the pretty faces” but the song still pretty good.(of course Pioneer to the falls is still the best song of the band)
