wes anderson. i like this.
Love this band. The audio is hard to bear. I’ll hold out for the Terminal 5 show. Their setlist for that show can be seen here: http://tinyurl.com/m2ps5t — I gotta say, i REALLY hope they work in more “How It Feels To Be Something On” and at least SOME “Rising Tide” songs into their set by the time they get to NY.
It’s rather unsatisfying that he leaves out that first round of “oh no”s in every chorus; the gang-sung “oh no”s work so much better as an echo!. Other than that, solid performance.
the album cover makes me think “up next on SNL”
whoa, anyone else thrown by her walking away from the tape deck and then sitting down next to the tape deck in the next frame? haha.
I love this song. And the video reminds me of Tarsem’s film, The Fall, which I love too.
My Morning Jacket is so overrated. TV on the Radio’s previous albums had good songs but the production was annoyingly noisy. Dear Science is the best, glad to it at the top. Wait, John Mellencamp is still alive? But where the hell is SIgur Ros?
this a great album. catchy. fresh. interesting. haters, get a life.
Girl Talk and TV on the Radio should swap places. Emliana Torrini’s and Copeland should replace Flight of the Conchords (more comedy than music) and Lil Wayne (just doesn’t fit here). Cheers to Bon Iver & Sigur Ros. My Paste subscription was free, otherwise forget it.
This band does have a place in my heart. Alas, lyrically, this song is horrendous. …I am digging “Red Star” though.
as much as hip-hop artists borrow lyrics these days days i almost excepted to hear “i don’t want no robocop” to be followed by “she like me like a lollipop”. good grief.
I miss the days when Weezer’s song structure wasn’t so simplistic / lazy / boring.
the song is way better than the video.
at least it beats the hell out of her last album’s cover art.
oh so trendy, this Obama guy.
“Magical Mystery” reference AND a visual duplication of the Rolling Stones’ Hot Rocks album cover in the same song!? Good grief.
Feist is such a fox! And so talented. Be still my heart.
Haha, how cheesy/annoying is the Good Morning America lady!
“How about Feist and ‘I Feel It AAALLL’ ” gag.
As far as the album goes – the songs are great and the vocals are good enough, what kills it for me it for me is the production! The so-called indie genius TVOTR guy blew it with his “tinkerbell on cough medicine” B.S. It was purposely produced in it’s noisy almost sloppy fashion for the sake of being indie-cool but it really hurts the songs. Seriously, remove the droning hum from “Falling Down” and I could love it so much more.
Wow… The collide of my world as a 5 yr old with my world as a 25 yr old. Who’d have thought…
haha, hilarious and clever ad campaign.
The first one was his official pick? Soooo sloooow. I think the second version (stop-action) was by far the best. …Also, Kanye’s misuse of the the number 2 is excruciating.

Haha, you got me stoked. i WISH she had done 1+1 — the only good song on that album.
