This makes me like the White Stripes more.
I do like this band, and I don’t find the song boring at all, but i have to agree that the lyrics are embarrassing.
I’ll get used to it.
To be honest i loved their first album, this one isn’t doing much for me, though i may have to let it grow on me.
I really love this band. Glad to see they still have that great classic sound.

I totally agree. I’m also glad to see the Mountain Goats but wish i saw the Pains of Being Pure At Heart and Passion Pit.

The best albums of the year were really hard to pick, and i’m sure none of mine will win but i have faith that the Stereogum community will at least pick something good.
Just read NPR’s list i think i might like it was the only list aside from this one i can say i really liked. Only major flaw is neither have Modest Mouse on them, such a shame.

I have to agree, Cornerstone is great but other than that the only good thing about the new album is their hair.

I’ve been bitching to my friends about this so much……..so much to say. But i think all i’ll say is this makes me appreciate the Postal Service even more, gosh they are great.
