Yeah, this isn’t a very good performance. Don’t get me wrong, i LOVE Sufjan. I’m saying this because i saw him live last month and he was far and above way better than this. This performance seems cramped and awkward, and he seems nervous, as his voice sounded a bit shaky to me, and he didn’t sound like that at the concert. I dunno what was up but yeah. It’s a shame, because he really is so fantastic live, and I feel like people will see this and dismiss his stuff as just strange. The choreography did not seem so weird on a big stage.
