Ed’s voice sounds better than ever! His performance really seems to have grown a lot this past tour.

So good, every time.

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala!

Valid points, but I’m afraid you’re responding to another discussion and missing the point of the article.

Confusing logic…

Every band has a different deal with their respective labels and a different overhead. Your personal experience is interesting and could have been included in the article but it doesn’t allow you to assume what another band makes.

Wish SG felt like this was quote worthy.

what’s your passionless career?

Little bummed but not surprised with Stereogum for pulling out the quotes and presenting them in such a way that makes them sound like they are complaining more than they really are.

Exactly.

Truth. These guys work hard and are incredible genuine and positive people. Don’t assume.

one of their best videos i think! this song still gets me every time. so gorgeous.

I think it’s definitely their greatest achievement yet. My favorite moments are the quieter ones where the songs drift into a haze, like during the eerily beautiful outro of “What’s Wrong” or the quiet break down during “Sun In Your Eyes.” So incredible. Absolutely album of the year for me.

Yeah I don’t really see the smug at all either……….

“I can’t think of any good reasons why the Walkmen aren’t on TV every week, but when they do show up, I’ll take it.”

Still trying to understand this sentence.

For real. Stereogum, you confuse me.

Can’t wait to see how they play this live! This recording has such an amazing energy to it, I can only imagine what it’s going to be like in person from such an amazing live band.

Absolutely one of my most favorite songs they’ve ever written. On repeat forever.
