That Nathan guy is was outperformed by his drummer during their live shows. But in general the music is just plain annoying.

JLM is the most underrated singer/songwriter on the scene today. Her album is brilliant!!

The day that Rakim and KRS-One die, then someone else can claim the “best rapper alive” crown. Until then these lil’ youngsters are just contenders for runner-up.

This is music to my ears! And I’m talking about the backlash not the actual song, cause that sh-t sucks majorly. Wayne has been a horrible artist since ’97, and somehow convinced the blogosphere that he was actually good last year. I’m glad you are realizing how moronic his music is.

The day has come when all those who have been swinging from Lil’ Wayne’s balls for the last year realized how horrible this guy is. It is a glorious day!

I’ve been a bad Homme fan. I normally eat up anything he puts out, but I’ve been slow about picking up this album. This song is a bit mediocre; probably why I’ve been slacking. But EODM do totally kicks ass, and I still plan on getting the album.

Yes, SXSW is an EXPERIENCE. You don’t need a wristband to have a good time, but it helps. I get one (of the cheap ones) just to better my chances of getting into the bigger showcases. And for those not familiar, this list is just the begining of what grows to over 1,000 bands. Signed, unsigned, mainstream and unknown. And if you do your homework you’ll catch some “unknowns” that will be household names by the end of the year. It is an adventure. As I said above… Funnest week EVER.

SXSW is the funnest week in the history of music. I’ll be there!

I kinda love this album art…

Obviously I meant to say “mathews fans who grew up”..

Zooey & Jenny… You can’t beat that one-two punch…

Biggest shock… Death Cab @ 14. In my opinion that album was the biggest dissapointment of the year. Pure dud…

I honestly didn’t think that Vampire Weekend appealed to anyone other than Dave Matthews who grew up, but then I saw them popping up on Best Albums lists. I will never understand what people see/hear in them.

I think those that “reported” on this owe Vivian Girls an apology. If you watch all of the Uncensored Interview clips you can see that the entire interview was sarcastic and lighthearted. Yet the blogs chose to just post a clip or two that don?t portray that when taken out of context. And then even after they apologize, some still chose to jab at them by posting unrated quotes from a former member. It?s really in bad taste.

And for the record, I had no idea who the band was before all this. So it?s not a case of a ?fan? sticking up for them. I?m sticking up for them because I recognize bs when I see it.

ohh yeah.. and I’ll just go on record right now with Plant & Krauss winning. It’s the typical grammy pick.

The Grammy eligibility period is Oct. 1 2007 through Sept. 30, 2008. In Rainbow was release digitally in October 07.
