…you are a dumb person.
lcd soundsystem…titus andronicus…alright im done
and pavements on a fucking reunion tour! just ridiculous
no doubt album of the year…wait, this is only like 1 of 10 incredible albums coming out this year…broken social scene, band of horses, new pornographers, belle and sebastian, band of horses, hold steady, arcade fire, the strokes, the black keys, and RADIOHEAD, not to mention too many more (beach house, broken bells, spoon, vampire weekend, los campesinos!) whoa, great time to be a music fan.
Reminds me of when i saw the new pornos with okkervil in columbus. Great show. I wonder how will is gonna contribute to the album
agree with this too. this album just have a bona fide single like “The Way We Get By” or “The Underdog” to give people a context that can put the rest of the album in perspective, drawing up the other songs to an understandable level. watever, its music, its fun
even after what I said about the album as a whole, I still agree with this statement. “Who Makes Your Money” or “Out Go the Lights” should have been the single choice
wow i fucking love this album. dont get me wrong gagagagaga, kill the moonlight, girls can tell, and gimmie fiction even perhaps are still better. but they take you on such a journey through the studio on this one, fading in and out, left and right. also the sounds they engineered their normally standard guitars, keys, and drums to make is pretty incredible. In my opinion, the album is slightly underrated, but not by much. spoon at bonaroo will be a fun time: http://iguessimfloating.blogspot.com/2010/01/news-bonnaroo-2010-lineup-leaked.html
harlem shakes clearly the saddest
wow. amazed at the people ripping on this band right now. incredible musicians we all love who make a thoughtful new album and we can’t even appreciate it. thats a joke
Why does no one ever stop in nashville anymore? Its NOT a city ONLy for country and bluegrass….GD. i love built to spill. Also i agree with whoever said they havent put out a bad album, very true.
the b-side is once again the superior song
such an under rated album
alright these stereogum dicks wouldnt mention it but the yeasayer show before MGMT was probably the best and most fun concert of the whole weekend. Completely off the wall, incredible light show and sound quality. Just needed to give them some due credit
car
i cant decide
this band has no melody
but its still enjoyable to listen to and u can respect its amount of musicianship
but its not exciting at all, you cant argue that really
I feel like the band is kinda smug too
talking on blogs is essentially talking to yourself
i feel stupid
considering YHF is the musical masterpiece of the decade alongside Kid A and the Moon and Antarctica, I respect anything musicians of that caliber put out. and yeah otherwise its pretty good on its own
coulda just been fucking around at the show, no? ur an idiot
dude, what the fuck are you talking about…?
if the headliners werent so bad and i wasnt going to bonnaroo which is almost identical id go
lolla?
yaaayyyyyyy!!!!!
alright look, im legitimately mad because I go to lolla every year and those bands are completely irrelevant for a modern festival in chicago. last year we got tom yorke, jeff tweedy, and a strong kanye coming off glow in the dark tour to choose from, people that matter in the 2000s. little over the top to go with the douchebag route, but obviously you like to “show a little class”
lolla sucks an F###ing D**K this year, jesus. anyone argue that?

for everyone’s concerns about the production of ‘terrible love’ or others, i got an email from the band and they said that the leak going around has some obvious differences and they want you to “hear it in the quality that was intended.” For that to happen, they’ll be streaming the album on nytimes.com on friday. Otherwise, im just really amazed at the expanse of work this band has now at their disposal. From sad songs for dirty lovers through this most recent effort, they’ve pretty much nailed it. and there originally from cincinnati, so I think bloodbuzz could really be more about there than cleveland, not sure.
