Big Day Out 2008

Big Day Out 2008

This past weekend a couple Big Days Out took pace down under (Friday in Aukland and Sunday at the Gold Coast) with LCD Soundsystem, Björk, Rage Against The Machine, Battles, Kate Nash, Billy Bragg, Silverchair, and Arcade Fire, among others. Rage's set (along with Tom Morello's solo turn as the Night Watchman) was expectedly political, but doesn't sound like Win Butler was caught making Obama orations -- or, at least not in the clip we found of "Black Mirror." As far as Björk and Co., they kept the ass-kicking on stage. The next Big Day stop's this Friday in Sydney.
