Frances Bean Interviewed In Harper's Bazaar
The 15 year old's sounding like she has a good head on her shoulders, saying the right stuff about her fame ("These people are fascinated by me, but I haven't done anything ... If you're a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I'm not my parents ... People need to wait until I've done something valid with my life") and even offering props to her paternal Grandma ("she's probably the person I respect most out of anybody in the world"). Now that's the teen spirit. As far as a future career, though, the magazine reports that "she's thought about photography and/or journalism (there may be a summer internship at Rolling Stone)." Summer internship at Rolling Stone?! Corporate magazines still suck, Franny.

Hey, doesn't this make everyone feel really old?

Good attempt, Bazaar, in trying to make Ms. Bean look attractive. If she doesn't think she's worthy of any attention then she shouldn't let a legion of make-up artists, professional photographers and photoshop experts near her.

I'd like to smell HER teen spirit!
I'd like to bleach HER heart-shaped box!
I'd like to make pennyroyal tea from HER territorial pissings!
I'd like to let her know HER mom's music is terrible!

How is it that most of you always have to have some shit to say about somebody even when they're normal sounding.
The saddest bunch are these overly-critical people that hangs out on the internet. They all seem to have pre-written criticism for just about everything and everyone.

She seems like a fairly well adjusted kid. I'm glad. People should leave her alone.

She's just a kid, which she's always wanted people to know, but I'm a little worried about the whole insinuation that she will intern at Rolling Stone. I guess having famous parents trumps applying like everyone else. But it's nice to see that she's interesting in something like that.

I'm sure her Dad would have been proud - sad he couldn't get through is problems at the time and realise what he had to live for.

When HOLE toured in 1994 I was introduced to a beautiful young Francis, about six months after her fathers untimely death. We were there hours before the show.{I had many encounters with Courntney on this day}I was at 19 a huge fan of both NIRVANA and HOLE.To this day Ill never forget the comfort her ethereal face gave to me as I greived still, the death of her father.PLEASE have an ounce of decency she is only a child.

I guess it's difficult to be anti-establishment when you were raised in the lap of luxury... However, she has many years to decide what to do. Whatever.. (nevermind?)
