New Gnarls Barkley -

New Gnarls Barkley - "Run"

There's gotta be something at least a little liberating about trying to follow up an album with a single as big as "Crazy"; there's just no fucking way it's happening! And everybody knows it. So the first sounds to drip from Gnarls's post-St. Elsewhere repertoire is a fat-beat Austin Powersy party soul jam, with Cee-Lo working up a sweat running for his life and Dangermouse sounding like he's been listening to lots of Mark Ronson. No horns, though; also, no idea if this will be a single from this year's The Odd Couple. But like everyone, we know it won't be as big as "Crazy," and that doesn't stop it from being a pretty good time.

No, you're not crazy. "Crazy" is one of my least favorite tracks on St. Elsewhere. This new shit is pretty hot though.

When's Danger Mouse's confab with Black Thought finally coming to fruition!? Just the thought of that has had me drooling since 2006.

its kind of queen-esque with the theatrics of the song. if they create a video i'm thinking super-zombies and cee-lo as the evil scientist.
