Stream Goldfrapp's Seventh Tree
With "A&E," and its bodies-of-leaves video, it was clear Alison and Will were set to veer off from the Black Cherry sound they continued to mine with Supernature; some called it out for being too MOR, but we highly recommend taking some time with this album stream. It's a softer, string-laden side of the pair we're seeing these days, but there's nothing wrong with some lush introspection after all that dancing. The album's out 2/26 on Mute, and they have some dates coming up with BTW frYars.

I agree! After the party that was "Supernature" this is the after party album to play, late night, early morning. I have had the album since the end of December and it has grown on me, nothing wrong with a little good Lush sounding music. Nice work Goldfrapp, can't wait to get the real copy next week!

I heard this a few weeks ago - could be time for a new genre 'Trip Pop' just for this style of synth fizz folk
