if there is one band to see, it's the punk rock circus orchestra, The World/Inferno Friendship Society. they have consistently put on the best and most fun live show of any band i have ever seen, period.

It is funny you mention Papa Joe. I ran into him last year at SXSW "looking for talent." I guess he has his own label or something. Anyway, he was so weird. He had buckles on each of his shoe that looked like diamonds. One shoe had Papa spelled in the "diamonds" and the other shoe had Joe spelled out. I guess that vow to live modestly went out the door when he stopped being a minister.

I don't think that is the same Ryan Cabrera. If I were him, I would change my name. I thought it was the pop singer too.

I think it's cool that Hanson is playing. I saw a pic of them in the sxsw book given out a couple of years ago. They were these tiny kids singing a the softball game. That's kind of how they were discovered. It's nice to see them actually coming back as part of the festival.

I'm really looking forward to this year. Lots of artists I want to see.
