Most Overblogged of 2007

This wasn't even close. (Sorry, Win.) Actually, here's a fun experiment: Take the top 10 overblogged/overhyped artists by your votes, and compare 'em to our most tagged artists for the past 365 days. You guys vote pretty literally. Except for Amy Winehouse -- it seems like everybody agrees she could just use a vacation. Impressively, the White Stripes didn't get hit too hard here. Looks like Bradford Cox's exploits wore a little thin, and hey Dan Deacon finally made a top 10! Honorable Mention: "any of those damn remix people- I hate all of them, JUSTICE and what not. And anything shoegazy." Half the Top 10 albums of the year overlap with the Top 10 overblogged -- Arcade Fire, Radiohead, M.I.A., Animal Collective, and of Montreal -- proving again that one person's gold is another's crap. And if you're equating "overblogged" with "overexposed," then oM ftw.

Arcade Fire are overblogged, but that's only because they're the Best Live Act ;)

Yeah, I took it as most overrated too (Animal Collective). For overblogged I'd have voted differently (Justice or LCD even though I love both of them, I don't need to hear about them everyday). Arcade Fire is a solid choice though.

The Arcade Fire deserve all the praise they've been given. Nobody denied this before they blew up. Fucking hipsters, pull your heads out of your asses and stop hating on the basis of popularity.
