The Roots' 8th studio LP Rising Down is out out April 29th, and Okayplayer hosts the first "blog banger," which runs through a "one verse/no chorus, lyrical assault from Black Thought over a sharp ?uestlove drum break and analog bass." Backpackers might wanna unload and dig in; what he "spit is like a psychology exam." Works for us, just hope Def Jam does a better job with it than last time -- our hearts can take no more depressed Ahmir webcam confessionals.
