'Gum Drop Giveaway #84
One Grand Prize winner gets to update their Jane's Addiction collection with Rhino's 3-CD/1-DVD A Cabinet Of Curiosities limited-edition wooden cabinet plus Nothing's Shocking and Ritual De Lo Habitual on updated 180-gram vinyl. You're likely familiar with those two classic Jane's albums, but here's what you'll find on A Cabinet Of Curiosities, which includes live performances, rarities, never-before-heard demos, and unreleased and hard-to-find videos. All said, there are 30 unreleased tracks. Disc one opens with five songs from a 1986 session at Radio Tokyo in Venice, CA (including an unreleased take on "Jane Says"), then moves into unreleased demos from 1987, and keeps on going. It's packaged in a wooden curio cabinet that includes recreations of early concert flyers, ticket stubs, a set list, etc. It looks like this when closed and opened:
