I definitely appreciate the idea behind the track, but the song fell a bit flat for me. Amazing production as always, but the song wasn't there.

Harmless Lover's Discourse reminds me of their version of a Bruce Springsteen Streets of Philadelphia-esque ballad.

Doesn't even hold a candle to Since U Been Gone, probably my favourite radio pop tune in the past 5 years or so.

Bitching is what the internet does best.
I enjoyed the song once, thanks Stereogum.

Has the potential to go extremely each way. Let's just hope the cast and production take it the right way. Makes sense to me though - poppy campy songs, sentimental, limited sets, a good recipe.

Enjoy this song more than the average Vampire Weekend track.
I think people are so plus or minus this band because they got so popular so quickly, it's the (somewhat) new p4k effect.
The title of this movie enrages me, sounds like "customer focused music solutions" (props radiohead).

No hook, whatsoever. I wanted a hit you in the chest When You Were Young caliber song. I like the new direction, Stuart Price did a pretty decent job with production (although missing some big full bass tones) and Brandon's voice sounds good. But there is absolutely NO song there.

or Salisbury Steaks. If Salisbury Steaks were made out of human legs.

Last night I realized Harry Crane looks like an exact hybrid of Clark Kent and Fat Elvis.

so why do we all love him? I've tried to boil it down to voice and dadness.

Based on my shameful loyalty to the CBC, I wanted Jian to be vindicated. But it's also Billy Bob, and I'm also a defensive Canadian. :)

Totally agree. Plus I wanted to see Stefan try even harder to impossibly woo Jamie in future episodes.

I officially don't understand why he is funny. Someone please tell me what movies to see or sketches to watch, because "we are two wild and crazy guys" can only go so far, and my girlfriend hasn't been able to force me watch Father of the Bride for awhile now.

So Jeff Buckley is someone that you think shouldn't be covered, and then you cite Leonard Cohen as someone who shouldn't be, either. Hmm, yeah. I guess it's just a coincidence that both artists have a popular song entitled "Hallelujah," then?
