Ah, the innocence of youth! If it weren't for the likes of Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Brian Eno and so so so so sooooo many others that I really don't have the time or patience to mention, there would be NO Indie "scene" and we would all be listening to chamber music and/or bland mush, but thankfully we don't HAVE to listen to Britney, Rhianna, Bros. or The communards (but then you probably don't know who they are... so all this is really wasted on you).
