How about calling it "What is the light?"

I like Grandaddy, but their sound hasn't really gone anywhere. This song could be on the sophtware slump.

Here's all you have to do to understand some of the ridiculous things Prince does.
He decided to strip down to his underwear and put out an album of pornographic demos...and it worked. He decided to put out a double album and it worked. Then, he decided he was going to make and star in a semi-autobiographical movie and it worked. This is how you become a person that can't be told how to do anything.

Not groundbreaking, not bad. Sounds a lot more like Cheap Trick than anything else. Just substitute the Hanson kid for someone who can't sing, substitute the rest of the band for people who can't play, make a low-fi recording, release it as vinyl only, and this song would be instantly legendary, it's just that easy.

Interesting production and arrangement, it's like he's trying to make the Sgt. Peppers of hair metal, which I would suggest is a terrible idea to begin with.

I thought that this movie was absolutely brilliant until the spielbergian parts started creeping in, its actually pretty easy to tell when it ceases to be a Kubrick movie. I don't think that this movie belongs here.
