Jimi Hendrix's character in GH3 couldn't be unlocked to play non-Hendrix songs and Bob Dylan is still alive, so he controls how his image is used. This isn't just about Kurt Cobain, the reaction would've been the same if were any other dead rock star, perhaps even bigger depending on who it was. If this happened in Beatles Rock Band, the outrage would've been far, FAR worse, because they have a much bigger and dedicated fan base and therefore the backlash would've been bad enough to warrant a recall of the game. The problem is that Activision has virtually no respect for the dead.
