this may be the dumbest thing i've ever read. and i like biggie. but your comment is asinine and way out of line. it has no place here. go slither back to the little home in the scum in the pond in the cave where you came from.

i'm not sure how he could have handled this better--brilliant, and far more rock 'n' roll than anything oasis has done, wrt attitude--punk as fuck.
jay-z still has it, no question.

i thought this would grow on me eventually, but this fails. really fails. the lyrics are shallow, and the music just really isn't that great. i gave this a completely fair amount of time and i'm not sure how those who like apologies could believe this compares favorably in any way. i actually liked it more the first few times through than i ended up liking it later. the lyrics are horrible, face it.

i'm thinking the shot heard 'round the world should involve a triple-aught shotgun, his finger, and his throat.

gotta say, it's cool to have the artist interact. it's uncool to have it in a forum where people write anything that can't be considered constructive, especially those who did it after the comment by the artist.
the artist should most of all listen to himself and produce based on that. what others think about it is a silly thing to try to consider, because some will like it and others won't, and it doesn't matter what the ratio is unless all you're after is sales. you don't have to please anyone but yourself and your band members, and as long as you're doing that, you're doing something honest. and honesty tends to produce good art, which tends to attract people. don't doubt what you've done if what you've done is honest. that's all i can think to say.
