Few things:
1. If I have to read "brendan b benson wheatus.com" one more time, I may go Oedipus and stab my eyes
2. The word "dweeb" should never be used under any circumstances grover
3. I wonder how Billy feels about having such a gapping vagina...

Dude! Getting reviewed along with Girl Scout cookies by three people who probably stopped buying music before the cassette and 8 track were invented. I can imagine no other way to be more indie.

PS Somoa cookies deserve some lovin'.

Please refrain from using, "flippin'" ever again. One because it's "flippin" and two because it should never go between anyone's first and last names. Especially Jack White.

I don't see the problem with any of these things. Warner has made some pretty "indie" decisions e.g The Flaming Lips release as mentioned above. Sub Pop has put out some awesome stuff with Blitzen Trapper and whatnot. Also the Fleet Foxes made a great album and hopefully they will make another one. With the exception of the reverbophilic nature of the band, they don't have much in common with MMJ or BoH. I suppose the music blog backlash was always inevitable. A good record is a good record though

You should fall off something tall. You're the Nickelback of life.

I agree The Raveonettes need some loving although it is good see Portishead do well. This year did blow ass for music. Coldplay needs to go away for a long long time. Forever would be preferable. I agree with the Kills comment. They deserve the top ten easily. That album was just so awesomely dirty. And if Girltalk Feed The Animals doesn't catalyze an immediate dance party, you're probably hanging out with Helen Keller. Only By The Night wasn't that good and I like Cardinology a lot more than I probably should but I love it...oh well there is always next year...

Hey now! I agree with most of what you said, but you should not being using the Lord's name(Bob Dylan) in vein. It's blasphemy.

Uh, Ryan Adams has put out a different sound on essentially every album. Easy Tiger and Cardinology are similar, but every single other record has been completely different from the others...I dig all the bands mentioned in this article, but typecasting RA as a one trick pony who expects the same from others is kind of dumb.

PS Whoever said Paul Westerberg's toe has more talent than RA is ridiculous. The Replacements are awesome, but Paul Westerberg is kind of a ho...

Oh! that is rough. I don't see any Feed The Animals or The Stand Ins...
Personally, I have tried to like Only By The Night, but it just doesn't do it for me...It's cool KOL tried something new but this just doesn't hold its own. Not sure where Dido came from either.
