he leaves his number and e-mail and (i think) address, too. although i've gotten into a tiff with the web sheriff over a hold steady track posted on a friend's blog, i never felt the urge to call the number and see if it was real.

although some inclusions (mariah, katy perry, metallica's absurdly high placement) is typical of blender, the list is actually a lot better than i expected it to be. a lot.

the whole t-pain autotune fuckery is one trend in rap that got old REALLY quickly. it's sort of a shame that the mainstream rappers that are actually GOOD don't want to rap anymore: they just want to sing badly and make their voices sound like a cheap alternative to using a vocoder.
