That was fucked up. Those were real tears. That baby was truly terrified. I kept wondering what long-term psychological damage the baby was going to have after undergoing this making of this stupid fucking video. I was uncomfortable the whole time watching this baby feel terrified and cry. Mind you, I am an MGMT fan, but it doesn't excuse them to be so fucking "hip" that a baby undergoes psychological trauma for their pseudo "avantgarde" video.

I saw them open for No Age in January at The Smell. I was impressed. They put on a good show. Dig this video, too. Never can do wrong with some desert cacti in the mix.

Agreed.

Stupid betch did the same thing to Talk Talk. And the 'kids' don't know any better. I partially grew up in the '80s, so this really annoys the shit outta me.

I had this very song's poster in my room in Jr. High. It was hot. All of them dressed as [dandy] pirates. Adam Ant fucked it all up by going solo.

OMG! I was totally reminded of When In Rome also. Haha.

Dude, the babe in YYY's is hot. What are ya gonna do?

Someone slap this stupid bitch already.

The arrogance of teen shitty pop stars is beyond ignorant.

Hi-five, Thom!

This made me laugh:

"If radios were still a thing that existed, they totally wouldn't need to make radio edits."

Dude, being that LA is car culture (thanks Big Oil and Big Tires), radio was really important. Especially when stuck in traffic and/or commuting to work. People often complained that radio in LA sucked... but after living in NYC, (some) radio in LA was actually pretty decent compared to how shitty radio is back East. Now, unless I'm listening to the news (KPFK & NPR) or This American Life, most radio in LA is shitty Top 40 crap. :( Even killer NPR programs, as just mentioned can simply be downloaded as a podcast to listen to at my convenience. Radio, indeed, is dead. Corporations suck sweaty smelly hairy balls.

My two cents. ;)
