On Stereogum

All the artists you mentioned brought something new to the table. Owl City only apes the signifiers of the Postal Service to give his lazy stupid writing some sort of cache.
Not to mention the Magnetic Fields have a much better version of this song that they recorded in '91.
Also, have we all forgotten the Headphones? They even did the one album and then permanent hiatus thing.

I got this album a few years ago in high school and I still absolutely love it. And I have to agree with James about this and Sea Change.

Hey, I just found a competition in art: http://employees.oneonta.edu/farberas/arth/Arth213/baptistry_competition.html

And don't act like Michael Bolton is winning at something

I've been jammin' "So Bored" for a while, it's a really good song.

Lilly sounds kind of depressed, and considering her year it makes sense.

Why don't you post their Florida shows with the Fiery Furnaces? You forgot to do it the last time you posted their itinerary too.

I think it works better as novelty, but it's still pretty wicked. People don't care about buying music, but they'll buy shirts with a band's name on it to show off. I personally think the lantern is killer.

Mr. Oberst decided that more people wanted to hear him in Croatia and Czech Republic than in the South East of America. That's very logical.

It's a mandate! Hollywood must respect our wishes and make this hypothetical movie a realitiy.

I didn't really care about this video when it was posted, but over the weekend I just kept thinking about it. Now I just can't stop watching it. His conviction is so charming. When he sings "and she's kinda neat," and raises his eyebrows, it just gets to me. And this song is awesome.
I love this video unconditionally.

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
