Thanks tons for this link! BEAUTIFUL live versions of these tracks -- definitely superior to the late night show versions. "You've Really Got a Hold on Me" is my favourite track on the album and it sounds fabulous here. I simply cannot WAIT to see it done live when I see them next month!

WOW, that's super. I love the original but this is completely different and fantastic. I read somewhere else that Sexsmith wanted to do this version as more of a "drunken singalong" which I think totally works.

Totally digging this. Now need the whole album!

WOWZERS. I was trying to blow off the addition of Prince to the line-up...but apparently he freaking DELIVERED.

Note to Stereogum: Sarah McLachlan not McLachlin. Even the random poster on prince.org got it right -- although they got the song name wrong (should just be "Angel", not "The Arms of an Angel").

Flight of the Conchords + Wolf Parade = PURE WIN. I'd go just for those two alone!

I like this, but I really liked "Possess" too, so there you go.

Okay the Obama-sistible video was pretty stupid, but Tracy was pure win as always.

Wow, that is surprisingly fantastic. I mean, I thought I'd like it, but I didn't think I'd like it *that* much. The intro is super amazing.

Quit Your Day Job: Ungdomskulen

The Bergen trio Ungdomskulen play proggy post punk, mixing chops and hooks with a sense of humor. But they don't sound like Primus. When I was in Norway a couple years ago, "Ungdomskulen" seemed to be on everybody's lips (or...

Premature Evaluation: Beck - Modern Guilt

It's been some time since we learned Modern Guilt, Beck Hansen's eighth album, would be some sort of psych rock minimalist '60s trip with Danger Mouse. Since then, we've gotten a look at the old-school jazz/Blue Note-style cover art and...
