Boston band Quilt have a good track record for chilled out folk rock, and their new song, “Open Eyes,” is as breezy as it is pretty. Bookended by backwards vocals and guitar, the track begins sleepily, but gradually grows in intensity until organs are blaring and drums are pounding. The song comes from a split with MMOSS, which features a song by each band plus a nearly 15 minute collaborative jam. You can preorder it here on colored vinyl, and listen to “Open Eyes” below.
