Cheatahs – “Fall”
The Britain-based band Cheatahs are comprised of four guys who come from four different countries, but their dizzy guitar swirls still evoke a specific time and place: England in the early ’90s, when shoegaze still sounded vaguely like pop music. The band’s new single “Fall” is one big swoon, and it’s slow enough that I can’t quite understand why they named themselves after the world’s fastest land animal. The should’ve called themselves Lazy Fat Comfortable Cats or something. Listen to “Fall” below.

Cheatahs have an album coming out this year on Wichita.
