In a lot of ways, the recent populist soul-revival movement of the last few years -- the one that turned Amy Winehouse into a martyr and Adele into the world's biggest-selling pop star -- started with a middle-aged woman with an unearthly sense of showmanship, one who led an 11-piece band of besuited goofs to festival stages across the world. Well, Sharon Jones and her Dap-Kings are still at it, and they'll release a new album called Give The People What They Want later this summer.
