Watch Broken Social Scene Play Field Trip Festival
Almost two years ago, Broken Social Scene went on an indefinite hiatus. The band broke that hiatus last night to perform at Field Trip Festival. The fest also served as the 10-year birthday party for Arts & Crafts, the Canadian indie label co-founded by BSS frontman Kevin Drew. Watch some fan footage of the performance below, including one where James Shaw of Metric surprises Kevin Drew by showing up right before a performance of “Jimmy and the Photocall,” a BSS rarity written about him. In case you missed it, the band also played Fallon a few days ago.
