Mike Hadreas, who records raw and delicate songs as Perfume Genius, seems to exist entirely in his own self-created sound-world; he’s not exactly the heavily collaborative type. But one of the songs on Mug Museum, the forthcoming album from the British singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon, is “I Think I Knew,” a softly sweeping full-on duet with Hadreas. It’s a lusher, more orchestrated song than most of what you’ll hear from Perfume Genius, and it’s very pretty. Listen to it below.
