Movement are a trio from Sydney, and their new single “Us” is a darkly sensual R&B throb that seems to exist at the exact midpoint of a lot of things happening in music right now. It’s got the flickering intimacy of the xx, the falsetto vulnerability of the Weeknd, the sparse and clean sound-design of Disclosure, the smooth intensity of Rhye. And it’s also, on its own merits, just a very good song. You can hear it below.
