Stream The Blow The Blow
The last time the incisive synthpop duo the Blow made an album, it was seven years ago, Jona Bechtolt still hadn’t left the group to focus on YACHT, and they still lived in Portland. That album was called Paper Television, and it was awesome. They now live in New York, and Melissa Dyne has replaced Bechtolt, but they’re still awesome. The duo’s new self-titled album has already produced the ridiculously catchy, emotionally walloping songs “Make It Up” and “From The Future,” and there are more where they came from. Stream the entire album at Pitchfork.
