Kanye West Sentenced For Battery, Attempted Grand Theft, Won’t Do Time
Back in September, Kanye West was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft after an altercation with paparazzo Daniel Ramos on 7/19 at LAX. We reported that West’s arraignment was scheduled for 10/10, two days from now, but according to TMZ criminal defense lawyer Blair Berk appeared in court on behalf of the rapper to receive his sentencing. West will have to stay 10 feet away from Ramos, at all times, but the judge suggested that Ramos also keep his distance, advising both parties refrain from using “self-help” (i.e., violence), as well. The prosecutors allegedly requested that West be sent to anger management to which, according to the gossip rag, “[t]he judge scoffed, and rejected the request.” Yeezus just rose again.
