Arcade Fire Playing Bridge School Benefit, Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center
With their new album looming, Arcade Fire will presumably, probably, announce a full tour before too terribly long. Until that day comes, though, they’re content to announce one-offs, surprise shows, and benefits, sending the entire internet scrambling to find tickets in the process. The band will probably play Brooklyn a couple of times later this week, and now they’ve announced more shows on either coast. As Pitchfork points out, they’re set to play Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center 10/24. And they’ve been added to the already star-crammed lineup of Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit, which already feature Tom Waits, Queens Of The Stone Age, and a bunch of others. That show goes down 10/26 at Shoreline Amphiteatre in Mountain View, California. UPDATE: The band will also play an outdoor show, sponsored by Intel and MTV Iggy, at an as-yet-unannounced Los Angeles location 10/29, and a second Miami show 10/23 at Mekka.
