Watch King Krule Play Conan
Last night, Conan O’Brien welcomed a fellow redhead beanpole to his stage: The mercurial London youngster King Krule. Krule had made his late-night TV debut on Letterman last week, but he did something a bit different for his Conan performance, inviting the horn section from Conan’s band for a full collaboration. Performing the space-jazz beat-poetry workout “A Lizard State,” Krule made room for a couple of solos from Conan’s saxophonist, and it sounded pretty good. Krule once again dressed up for the occasion, too, and all the suits gave the whole thing a weird Royal Crown Revue vibe. Watch it all unfold below.
King Krule’s album 6 Feet Beneath The Moon is out now on True Panther/XL.
