Spectral folkie Marissa Nadler’s been busy lately paying tribute to Elliott Smith and collaborating with Emily Jane White and eerily covering the Lemonheads, but not so busy that she couldn’t find time to make a new album. Nadler’s next LP is called July, which is causing some cognitive dissonance this morning because it’s coming out in February. The first single is a typically airy and ethereal spine-tingler called “Dead City Emily,” and you can stream it below.
