Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke has always dabbled in dance music; even the hard-rocking Silent Alarm was tangentially related to the dance-punk movement. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard Okereke so completely immersed in house as on “Heartbreaker,” the title track from his upcoming EP for U.K. dance label Crosstown Rebels. Says Kele:

I’ve always loved the inclusive and spiritual nature of house music, so the opportunity to make music for the most iconic and influential house music label in the UK is a dream come true for me.
