Sibille Attar was born in France and is based in Sweden, but her new single “Come Night” might remind you of Scotland — specifically, the thoughtful but ebullient Spector worship of Camera Obscura (with whom Attar has collaborated). Culled from Attar’s full-length debut Sleepyhead, “Come Night” is one humongous wave of harmonized “oohs” and “ahs,” graceful piano twinkles and jaunty drums. Yet the song manages to sound fully in the moment, not lost in some library daydream of baroque pop’s past. Hear it below.
