Reflektor had such an insane marketing campaign driving it that hearing Régine Chassagne and Win Butler do some good old-fashioned radio promo is kind of refreshing. The band played a live session for BBC Radio 1, and their set included “Reflektor,” “Afterlife,” and “Normal Person.” Zane Lowe chatted with Butler and Chassagne throughout the segment about the use of Haitian drumming and instrumentation that underscores the album, James Murphy (of course), and their artistic transformation since the first three records.
