Bristol songwriter and producer Oliver Wilde caught some glowing UK press (and comparisons to the likes of Mark Linkous and Bradford Cox) for his modern approach to psych-pop on last year’s debut album A Brief Introduction To Unnatural Lightyears. Wilde’s already back with sophomore release Red Tide Opal In The Loose End Womb this spring, and today we present lead single “Play & Be Saved.” It’s a glorious phantasmagoria that hits hard and effervesces brightly, and you ought to listen to it below.
