The Antlers are being all mysterious. We haven’t heard much out of the Brooklyn-based band since late 2012, but earlier today they tweeted a link to a short YouTube video with no explanation or comment.

The video itself is even a bit cryptic. It opens with purple-filtered images of light on a dark background, accompanied by ethereal swaths of sound. Eventually the images are of Peter Silberman and co. in the studio, perhaps indicating that new music is on the way. Whether this is a teaser for a new album or a short, untitled video, we’re just happy to hear some new sounds from the Antlers. Watch the video below.
