Norwegian Ellen W. Sundes will soon be better known for her moniker Sea Change, under which she creates atmospheric songs that sound like pop music that’s died and returned as a ghost. On her new track “Bridges” she sings and sighs over chiming beats and faintly dissonant synths, building tension until the whole thing blows wide open in the final gripping section. There the song bursts to life climbing higher as Sundes moans, “It’s too late.” Her debut album is expected sometime later this year. Listen below.
