Elbow stopped by Fallon on Friday for an emotional performance of “New York Morning” from their new album The Take Off And Landing Of Everything. Frontman Guy Garvey and keyboardist Craig Potter also recorded a really cool video discussing how they wrote the song, how they based the piano line to represent the different heights of buildings in the New York skyline, and how Yoko Ono sent them a letter saying that she really liked the song.
