Dublin quartet Jet Setter trades in tightly wound, spring-loaded guitar rock that goes heavy on the melody and the melancholy without losing its brisk forward momentum. They’re releasing a self-titled EP next month on Any Other City, the label that brought us Girl Band, and they’re in the middle of some dates opening for Real Estate. “Not Yet,” a highlight from the EP, reminds me of what the Strokes might have sounded like with Jarvis Cocker out front.
