Blood Orange – “April’s Bathroom Bummer”
The forthcoming movie Palo Alto, an adaptation of James Franco’s book of short stories, is the debut from the writer/director Gia Coppola, and it features a score from Dev Hynes, better known to most of us as Blood Orange. Hynes wrote and performed just about everything we hear on the score, aside from some Samantha Urbani guest vocals and some instrumentation from Jason Arce. We’ve posted the soundtrack cuts “Palo Alto” and “April’s Daydream.” Hynes has now shared now shared another one, “April’s Bathroom Bummer,” which is less incidental film music and more actual song, complete with vocals and everything. Check it out below.
The Palo Alto soundtrack is out digitally now and physically 8/5, via Domino.
