On 7/25, just four days before the release of Jenny Lewis’ new album The Voyager, Lewis’ friend Naomi Foner (mother to Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal) will release her directorial debut, Very Good Girls, featuring music by Lewis. The film stars Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen as friends who make a pact to lose their virginity before going to college, but it seems quite a bit more moody than, say, American Pie. That’s thanks in part to the new Lewis music you can hear in the trailer, particularly a melancholy midtempo track that finds her passionately repeating the phrase “It still hurts.” Watch below.

Allegedly Kiernan Shipka — AKA Mad Men’s Sally Draper — is in this movie too, but I didn’t see her in the trailer.
