Lana Del Rey – “Brooklyn Baby”
We’ve already heard Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence track “Brooklyn Baby” in part. Now the whole thing is out there. While it’s unmistakably a product of Del Rey’s self-made universe, it sounds like a part of that universe we haven’t explored before — one that explicitly mentions hydroponic weed, incidentally. If the title didn’t give it away, “Brooklyn Baby” seems to be one of Del Rey’s critiques of the New York music scene, not one of her melodramatic fantasias. Delve into it below.
Ultraviolence is out 6/17 on Interscope.
