Devotion, the 2012 album from the British soul singer Jessie Ware, was one of the finest, most composed, most expressive debuts in recent memory. And judging by her new single “Tough Love,” there’s every chance that she’ll be able to pull something like that off again. Zane Lowe debuted “Tough Love,” which was co-written and produced by BenZel, on BBC Radio 1 today, and it’s a lovely piece of synthetic blue-eyed R&B with the same sense of space and sweep that Ware seems to have deep in her bones.
