"Team," the second hit single from Lorde's blockbuster debut album Pure Heroine, has been remixed by White Sea, AKA M83 member Morgan Kibby, who released her own strong In Cold Blood this year. Kibby bookended "Team" with some extra orchestral fanfare and traded the original's smooth synth pulse for a slightly dreamier sonic palette prone to ripple, skitter, and surge. Lorde's vocal remains intact and excellent; it sounds even more mature and world-weary in this context. Listen below.
